tinysapien asked: When I was in the UK I ordered a purse from ASOS (why I refuse to order to the US). I was actually within the 'free next/same day' delivery zone since I was actually in London. Three weeks & it hadn't shipped. The next day it had shipped and apparently my addresss didn't exist, I had NOT been notified - I only found this out because I checked again two days later to see all of this on my account. Literally 3 weeks & it hadn't even shipped then BAM. (cont.)

(cont) Let me point out now I listed ‘University of Westminster Harrow Hall’ as my address, which means even if they got lost there was no excuse. I only got a coupon for 10%, no refund no item & that also took 3 weeks of 4 separate people never answering me then a 5th saying I’d get a refund I never got and giving me the coupon. So 6 weeks for no item, in driving distance of their distribution factory, and no refund. And this happened to at least 2 other people I knew in the dorms.

Thanks for sharing your experience! That sounds terrible. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’ve actually ordered from ASOS four to five times before and I have NEVER had any problems with them, but after a quick Google search it appears that a lot of other people have been receiving terrible customer service from them.

I tweeted their customer care AND emailed them about an hour ago and (surprise, surprise!) I just received an email saying my new order has been shipped. I wonder if they would have just kept delaying if I HADN’T tried to complain over Twitter/Tumblr? I’m going to wait and see if the clothes actually reach me this time (I’m supposed to get it by the 19th) but I highly doubt it. 

So. I bought nearly $300 worth of clothes from ASOS.com approximately a month ago. They never arrived, and I had to email them three times before they would take action. Even now they are not giving me a refund, though I asked for one, and they assured me they are sending me a new order. It has been two days, though, and it says on the website that the new order is still being processed, which is just ridiculous. Is it really that difficult to either a) refund my money or b) ACTUALLY send me a new order when you said you were going to?

This irks me so much because I AM A LOYAL CUSTOMER, OKAY? This means, in theory, that I am part of the 20% contributing to 80% of your sales, you assholes. I must have spent close to a thousand dollars on your store in the past six months. Ugh. This will teach me to buy anything from ASOS again.
